What we do
...Help people in the community with food boxes. (Work with God's Food Pantry, Kroger, and FEMA.) In addition, we assist with electric bill payments. (When funds are available, we help with other crisis situations.)
...Provide disaster assistance, when needed.
...Distribute Salvation Army funds to eligible individuals/families.
...Run a Thrift Store offering reduced-priced clothing, shoes, personal items, house wares, furniture, etc.
...Provide work-site/training placements for participants from Ky. Works, Ready to Work, Senior Volunteer Program, and practicum students from Morehead State University.
...Work in collaboration with Doves, Gateway Homeless Shelter, local churches, and many other local and state agencies/organizations.
...Collaborate and organize work projects for mission groups...such as building handicapped ramps.
